MBA President-elect Denise I. Murphy will Walk to the Hill on Jan. 30 "because equality doesn't mean less than that."

On Thursday, Jan. 30, the Massachusetts Bar Association will once again co-sponsor the Walk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid to advocate for increased funding for civil legal services throughout the commonwealth.

The 21st Annual Walk to the Hill will begin at 11 a.m. in the Great Hall at the State House. Click here to learn more about the event.

Join fellow members and build enthusiasm as we advocate for increased funding for civil legal services throughout the commonwealth by participating in the Equal Justice Coalition's #IWalkForJustice social media campaign.

Please write down why you will be participating in Walk to the Hill and/or care about civil legal aid, and then take your photo holding the sign and share it on social media using the #IWalkForJustice hashtag. Click here to download and print a placard and for campaign instructions.

One of the largest lobbying events on Beacon Hill, the Walk to the Hill traditionally draws hundreds of lawyers to the State House to request their legislators' support for funding for civil legal aid.

The event is sponsored by the Massachusetts Bar Association, Equal Justice Coalition and Boston Bar Association.
