  • "SJC hands MassHealth another defeat in ‘war on trusts,’" Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (Aug. 2). MBA member Patricia Keane Martin and MBA Amicus Curiae Committee Chair Thomas J. Carey Jr. commented on a Supreme Judicial Court decision finding that a Medicaid applicant's limited power to appoint trust principal to a nonprofit or charitable organization did not render the assets "countable" for eligibility purposes.
