Murphy recently attended the Hampden County Bar Association's Annual Meeting to present the MBA Community Service Award to MBA and HCBA member Tahirah Amatul-Wadud.   • "Class certification denied in TCPA claim," Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (Sept. 13). MBA member Kevin M. McGinty commented on a First U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals decision that a lower judge did not abuse his discretion by denying class certification for a lawsuit alleging that the defendant sent unsolicited faxes in violation of the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991.
