Probate and Family Court announces new Essex Division first justice, changes to judicial assignments
Probate and Family Court Chief Justice John D. Casey announced this week that First Justice Jennifer M. Ulwick has resigned her position as first justice of the Essex Division of the Probate and Family Court effective July 5, 2022. Ulwick will be remaining in Essex as an associate justice.
Effective July 6, 2022, Judge Frances M. Giordano will become the first justice of the Essex Division of the Probate and Family Court.
Other changes to judicial assignments include:
Judge Michael D. Anderson — from Middlesex North to Essex
Judge Theresa A. Bisenius — from Essex to Middlesex
Judge Abbe L. Ross — from Essex to Suffolk
Judicial assignments for pending cases will be reassigned on a numbering system set by each division. Questions about specific cases can be directed to the assistant judicial case manager for the judge who was previously assigned to the case.
