  • "Campbell says new unit will crack down on crisis pregnancy centers, providing guidance in era of abortion misinformation," The Boston Globe (Nov. 14). MBA President-elect Victoria M. Santoro and MBA Criminal Justice Section Council member D. Christopher Dearborn were quoted in an article about the efforts of Massachusetts Attorney General Andrea Campbell to crack down on alleged misinformation provided by crisis pregnancy centers.

  • "On deposition rule, advisory committee recommends ‘noticer’s choice,’" Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (Nov. 13). MBA Past President Kathleen M. O'Donnell, MBA Civil Litigation Section Council Chair Michael D. Molloy and MBA member Michael C. Shepard discussed a recommendation by the Standing Advisory Committee on the Rules of Civil Procedure that the noticing party should decide whether a deposition is conducted virtually or in person.

  • "Attorney: gun bill contains trap for unwary probate lawyers," Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (Nov. 13). MBA member Karen L. MacNutt discussed a provision in proposed legislation to overhaul the state's gun laws that would shorten the time frame for individuals who inherit firearms to obtain a license or transfer ownership to a licensed person.

  • "Innovative partnership ensures lawyer for women in crisis," Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (Nov. 13). MBA member Laticia Walker-Simpson highlighted a new program staffed by Greater Boston Legal Services that provides a dedicated lawyer for guests at a Boston women's shelter.
