Massachusetts Bar Association Labor & Employment Section Council member Jeffrey T. Collins has been elevated to partner at Boston labor and employment law firm Morgan, Brown & Joy.
Collins is an experienced trial lawyer and litigator who represents management in all aspects of employment law, including advice, counseling and litigation in state and federal courts, as well as before administrative agencies. His practice involves working closely with clients to provide practical advice on hiring, discipline, termination, personnel policies, discrimination, retaliation, leave, contract disputes, and wage and hour compliance.

Jeffrey S. Siegel of Morgan, Brown & Joy presented on the Innovo Benefits Group webinar, “Employee Classifications 101: Pay Your Employees Properly,” on Jan. 31.
Siegel counsels employers in day-to-day human resources matters, including employment policies and handbooks, wage and hour matters, employee compensation and classification matters, bonus and commission plans, layoffs, restrictive covenants, and employee leave issues. He regularly represents clients at administrative agencies and in court to defend employers from claims made by employees, including those related to unpaid overtime and misclassification.

Susmita A. Gadre has joined Todd & Weld LLP as an associate and will concentrate her practice on complex commercial litigation.
Gadre represents clients in all phases of civil litigation and arbitration, including drafting pleadings, managing discovery, conducting depositions, arguing motions and developing trial strategy.
Prior to joining Todd & Weld, she was a litigation attorney at a large Boston law firm concentrating on intellectual property litigation.
