Join the Massachusetts Bar Association's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee on Thursday, May 22, from 5:30-7 p.m. at the MBA in Boston, for the second installment in its "DEI Efforts Under Siege" series. This program will focus on "How Private Law Firms Are Responding, and How Private Lawyers Are Counseling Clients."

The administration's executive orders and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission letters have cast doubt over the private sector’s internal diversity, equity and inclusion practices. While our country's civil rights laws remain intact, law firms question whether they may be the next target for investigation.

  • How are Massachusetts law firms responding?
  • What are the best practices to continue to cultivate diverse, equitable and inclusive workplaces?
  • What can private law firms and other institutions expect next?
  • What are the first amendment rights of corporations, and potential complications of corporate disclosures?
This informative event is FREE for all attendees.
