Member of the bar for more than 50 years
Phyllis K. Yarosh, a member of the Massachusetts and federal bars for more than 50 years, died Nov. 13, 2004. She was 76.
Mrs. Yarosh, late of Highland Beach, Fla., previously lived in Newton and Boston. She and her husband, David Yarosh, were law partners at 111 State St. in Boston before they retired to Florida in 1994.
Mr. and Mrs.Yarosh were born next to each other at Forest Hills Hospital in West Roxbury, but did not see each other again until they were 13 years old, when they learned their mothers shared a hospital room after their births. They attended Boston Latin, the University of Massachusetts and Boston University Law School. They were married for 54 years.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her daughter, Gail Yarosh of Stoughton, her daughter and son-in-law, Martha Y. Moritz and Dr. Mark W. Moritz, of Morristown, N.J., and five grandchildren, Andrea Y. Hanssen of Stoughton, and Lily Moritz, Rachel Moritz, Allen Moritz and Daniel Moritz, all of Morristown, N.J.
