Since 1974, the Massachusetts Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) program has answered the legal needs of more than 750,000 Massachusetts residents by referring their cases to attorneys in suitable practice areas and geographic locations.
Don’t forget to renew your LRS membership by March 31 to avoid any interruption in service. As an LRS member, you have the ability to pay your dues by mail or renew online to continue to be matched with potential clients who need your assistance.
If you would like to join the LRS, now is a great time since your membership will be good until March 31, 2021. To join, click here for the new member application and here for the 2020 LRS handbook.
By renewing and/or joining the LRS, you can also be listed in our automatic referral program where the public is able to receive an instant referral to an attorney — 24 hours a day, seven days a week — through the MBA’s LRS website.
If you have any questions, you can contact the LRS at lrs@massbar.org, or call (617) 338-0556.
