Veteran civil litigator and Massachusetts Bar Association member Charlotte L. Bednar has joined Todd & Weld LLP as of counsel.
Bednar brings a wealth of experience to the firm solving clients’ disputes, managing complex litigation matters, and providing advice on a wide array of business and regulatory challenges. Her work includes a variety of practice areas, including appeals, business disputes, real estate litigation and employment law.
Prior to joining Todd & Weld, Bednar was special counsel and partner in the Boston office of a national law firm.
Bednar obtained her law degree cum laude from Harvard Law School and her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Dartmouth College.

Jeffrey S. Siegel presented at the New England Corporate Counsel Association seminar, “Employment Law Update,” on Sept. 13.
Kugell is an established employment lawyer who counsels business owners and management through virtually every scenario surrounding the employer-employee relationship. As chair of Morgan, Brown & Joy’s Management Committee, she brings strong leadership skills to clients, helping them to make important business decisions and manage their operations efficiently while minimizing risks.
DiGiovanni represents public- and private-sector clients in various industries, including higher education, transportation, retail, public utilities, municipalities and health care, both in Massachusetts and across the country. His labor law practice includes day-to-day counseling to clients regarding contract administration and compliance with various state and federal labor laws, representing employers in collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, and in proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board, the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations, and state and federal courts.
Siegel represents employers in virtually every labor and employment scenario. He advises on and prepares restrictive covenant agreements, including agreements under the Massachusetts Noncompetition Agreement Act, and litigates to enforce or defeat noncompetition, nonsolicitation, and trade secret matters.
