The Immigration Law Section hosted a Feb. 13 section social,
featuring Kate Auspitz, issues director for Congressman Michael E.
Capuano, representative, 7th Congressional District of
Massachusetts.
Auspitz discussed what a congressional inquiry can accomplish,
how to request assistance and what cannot be reasonably expected
from an inquiry. In addition, Auspitz spoke to attendees about what
is happening on the hill regarding comprehensive immigration reform
issues.
That same evening, Reece Erlichman, director of the Bureau of
Special Education Appeals, an independent subdivision of the
Division of Administrative Law Appeals, attended the Juvenile &
Child Welfare Section open meeting.
