Join us for the inaugural conference of the Juvenile and Child Welfare Section on the 50th anniversary of the landmark decision In re Gault. We'll examine how the promise of Gault has been fulfilled in Massachusetts thus far and discuss opportunities for inserting due process into every remaining facet of the Juvenile Court process. From emergency custody hearings and arraignments to access to public education and services, court appearances, probation, and much more, come challenge your understanding of due process and discover how to implement this principle in your child welfare and juvenile justice practice.

The conference will take place on Friday, April 7, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the United Teen Equality Center (UTEC) in Lowell, which is a place of special significance given the meaningful work they do in the juvenile community.

This program qualifies for 7 CAFL/YAD credits. Special pricing is available for practitioners on the CAFL and YAD panels as well as members of the Juvenile Law Bar Association.
