  • "Mass. moves prosecutors, defense attys up in vaccine line," Law360 (Jan. 13). MBA Chief Legal Counsel and Chief Operating Officer Martin W. Healy and MBA Executive Management Board member Anthony J. Benedetti, chief counsel of the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), were quoted in an article about the inclusion of court system workers in the second phase of the state's COVID-19 distribution plan. The MBA and CPCS had advocated for the change in a Jan. 6 letter signed by Benedetti and MBA President Denise I. Murphy.

  • "Wary bar hoping trials finally resume Jan. 11," Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (Jan. 11). MBA President Denise I. Murphy, MBA Past President Douglas K. Sheff and MBA member Brendan G. Carney were quoted in an article about the resumption of jury trials in the Trial Court. 

  • "MassHealth can’t obtain reimbursement from estate," Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly (Jan. 11). MBA member Patricia Keane Martin commented on a Supreme Judicial Court decision finding that MassHealth could not obtain reimbursement of benefits from an estate proceeding that began more than two years after the decedent's death.

MBA Solo/Small Firm Law Practice Management Section Council member Jennifer Sirrine was interviewed for a feature story focused on her love of horses and her involvement in the equestrian sport of dressage.
