One of the most important responsibilities of all lawyers and
judges is to protect and promote the integrity and respectability
of the legal profession.
The Massachusetts Bar Association hosted a forum on civility and
professionalism on Aug. 22, at the TD Bank Building in Springfield,
which featured guest speaker Hon. Judith Fabricant, chief justice
of the Superior Court. The forum outlined a new set of principles and guidelines, created by the MBA and the
judiciary, to ensure that the legal community continues to conduct
itself with the utmost personal courtesy and professionalism.
