The Massachusetts Bar Foundation's 2020 Virtual Grantee Reception will take place next Thursday, Oct. 8, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Paul J. Klehm, of Krasnoo, Klehm & Falkner LLP, will be honored at the event. Klehm has been a longtime volunteer of both the MBF and the Massachusetts Bar Association, serving on the MBF’s Northeastern MA Grant Review Committee for nearly 15 years and currently serving his second year as chair of the MBA’s Civil Litigation Council and on its House of Delegates. He previously served on the MBA’s Amicus Curiae and Civility and Professionalism committees, and has participated for many years as a volunteer for the Dial-A-Lawyer and Mock Trial programs.
Jacquelynne J. Bowman, executive director of Greater Boston Legal Services, will present the Grantee remarks. A nationally recognized expert in family and juvenile law as well as in law practice management, Bowman began working at GBLS as a senior attorney. She left in 1991 to work at Massachusetts Law Reform Institute, but returned to GBLS in 1998 as an associate director and later the deputy director. She became the executive director in August of 2011. In addition to her work at GBLS, Bowman serves on the Access to Justice Commission of the Supreme Judicial Court as well as on the boards of several non-profit organizations.
